Doha Exhibition Center, located in the center of Doha, is a modern, fully equipped area that offers both indoor and outdoor exhibition areas and is a perfect location for Qatar’s increasing number of exhibitions, conferences and events.
Having received the inquiry at the end of January 2013, DuctSox was faced with a challenge of installing textile ducting to the Doha Exhibition Center exhibition hall in order to cool the area quickly, ensure an efficient air dispersion across the entire area and provide a pleasant atmosphere for all the visitors at any time.
Our team solved the task efficiently! The DuraTex fabric made from fire-retardant polyester fabric was selected for the ducting. The total horizontal length of the ducts installed at the exhibition hall, each of a 38’’ diameter, exceeded 240 meters. In contrast to a conventional metal duct, the entire DuctSox system acts as an air diffuser, which allowed for a much simpler layout and an effective air dispersion for the exhibition area. This saved the costs and time required for the installation!
