DuctSox was given a challenge to provide an efficient and clean air dispersion to an office area of 9 floors. For a company working in the field of healthcare and medicine, visual appearance and hygiene is essential. An intricate and specifically designed and customized system was installed with ducts of 149. 8 and 87. 4 m total length to cover the area effectively and ensure a pleasant and healthy environment for both the employees and the visitors. Fabric Duct were manufactured from the all-purpose permeable DuctSox Verona fabric of silver color and measured 14’’ in diameter.
An additional task was to ensure that the duct is taut and inflated at all times, regardless of whether the duct system is working or not. Duct deflation is one of the primary concerns that may arise when choosing the right textile duct system, especially when the aesthetical appearance is important even when the air dispersion system is off. Because of this, SkeleCore Fabric Tensioning System - the only textile ducting / diffuser system that provides cylindrical tensioning to keep the fabric round and taut at all times – was installed in the duct.
To provide a 360-degree control over the airflow movement and direction, adjustable nozzles were installed in the duct. Adjustable Nozzles for DuctSox are designed for spot cooling and ventilation application and are perfect for applications where high throw and complete control of the movement and direction of the airflow is important.
